So in theory it should have been tons of fun for everyone on Monday night when, for the first time in 20 years, Mark appeared on stage with all the members of NKOTB at Madison Square Garden (along with fellow surprise guest 50 Cent) in an appearance that had the crowd cheering.
Wahlberg embraced and shook hands with everyone on the stage and checked out the crowd; after just a few minutes, he walked off side-by-side with 50 Cent.
The opening riffs of “Good Vibrations” played for a little while, as if the plan had been for him to reprise his hit, but no such luck.
Regardless, Donnie was clearly proud, posting an Instagram of the brothers embracing with the caption, “Marky Mark retired 25 years ago, but I still loved sharing the stage w my brother @mark_wahlberg tonight!”
