Jim Carrey is hitting the media circuit to promote his new film “I Love You, Phillip Morris,” a film in which his character is gay. The topic came up during Carrey’s recent appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” when Letterman asked, “Do you worry about your image as a heterosexual leading man playing a homosexual?” Carrey’s response: “We haven’t grown at all, have we? We’re still children in the schoolyard.”
It seemed like an awkward exchange, but Carrey, at Monday’s New York premiere of the film, said there were no hard feelings at all. There definitely are no hard feeling between Carrey and his co-star Ewan McGregor, the two locked lips on the red carpet. “It’s like kissing a woman with hair,” he told Global Grind of smooching McGregor.
